Description

Spectacular early example. The jewel is obviously the big panel. It is not a bland mob scene of static stock characters shaking fists, but a lively scene of individuals in a variety of gestural poses, some angry, some resolute. Even the horses display wonderfully lifelike movement. To think all this detail (thirty two men and four horses by my count!) could be captured in a single panel for a daily strip is astonishing and once again, a testament to Salinas' talent and professionalism.
