Description

I don't think there's any argument that Cisco Kid was a terribly written strip, but Salinas's work was nothing but exemplary. He managed more sophisticated storytelling with a few fine lines denoting movement or expression than the writer could ever hope to convey with caption or dialogue. It's to Salinas's credit as both an artist and professional that he worked on the strip for years, consistently producing beautiful drawings that far outclassed the material he was given.

Tom, this is great. The action is - as you say - rendered so simply, yet it is so energetic and vibrant.
