Wow! That duplicitous scheme is just as evil as anything that's going to happen next! Every page is crafted with such care and dark dread!

I adore that story in the film. The Shadmock. It's so tragic. He's got money and a mansion, but the thing he wants most in the world, doesn't want him. Bolton captures the scene brilliantly where we Angela ( Barbara Kellerman) struggling with her conscience after seeing all that money in the safe.
