9x12" DC Trading Cards artboard features pen and ink original art used for card #45 in Skybox's 1994 Batman-themed Saga Of The Dark Knight trading card set. Art by longtime Batman comic artists Jim Aparo (1932-2005, pencils) and Dick Giordano (inks) recreates scene from Batman #429 (A Death In The Family storyline) and features 7x9" image area showing disguised Superman ripping open his shirt while inhaling poison gas that Joker has deployed, much to his shock. Batman reaches for Joker's gun in bkg. Art has been signed by Giordano in black ink and once again at bottom right. Penciled "'Supes' Inhales Gas" title at top, though card's published title was "Two-Minute Warning." Center left/right has aged printer tape/registration marks, and artboard has some lt. scattered dust soiling, but art o/w remains Exc.
