Description

Last year, a fellow Layout Artist I worked with, introduced me to the work of Spanish artist: Josan Gonzalez. I was immediately impressed, and began following his "deathburger" Instagram page.. Never imagined getting any Original Art would be possible.. But at the recent CAF Con back in May, fellow CAF member Nate Schultze had an example up for sale.. Thanks Nate, for letting this one escape your collection!

Thanks, Bob! Yeah, I'm a big Darrow and Moebius nut.. So, it's really in my wheelhouse! You can see Gonzalez added a Left Hand to the big robot (and shifted some of the buildings) in Photoshop, for the final published version..

They try to do a live version of this kind of thing in almost every Transformers movie, but they always forget that we need to take in the action and spectacle as a whole instead of seeing a million cuts and edits with a closeup of the star's face.
