DescriptionJoe Bennett's run on The Immortal Hulk demonstrated his amazing art skills, especially his emphasis on body horror. I was very happy to be able to commission him to do his version of the cover to Marvel Feature 9 from May 1973, with a focus on the Wasp monster, who never got a cover appearance. Awesome pencil work, with an incredible amount of detail that sometimes doesn't come across in his published work!Social/Sharing |

I love Bennett's work and this is such a great example - fantastic piece.

The shading is so cool and delicate for the figures and on the detail of the insect wings! The whole scene comes alive with Bennett's variety of lines directing focus and attention to the main conflict.
