Description

Just a stunningly detailed page with oodles of crazy mech, great design and some very cool margin and footnotes by the venerable Mr. Moore!

This was one of the last stories which the remarkable Jim Baikie illustrated, and while there's a more sketchy quality to the work than the earlier First American series, this page in particular is a real beauty. A skilfully designed piece which leads the eye nicely around the whole, and has a raw, scratchy energy about it.

Yes, the scratchiness presents a very grimy vision of the future. A very quirky piece from the talented Jim Baikie.
