Description

Jesse Lonergan is an artist I had never heard of before seeing Hedra last year from image comics, it was an outstanding debut and when his commission list opened up, I inquired about having Jesse do an all-star superman commission for me. It's my favorite Superman story and when I commission an artist these days it's what I ask for. He did an amazing job, with the shorter cape, wider jaw, larger S, the longer shorts, but a fun bit of serendipity happened as well. The character Superman is carrying, Krull, I own the splash of his first appearance in All-Star Superman (featured in my gallery). So this fits right into my collection. If you haven't looked up or heard of Lonergan, he's worth a look. Repped by inky knuckles art.

Lonergan was killing it on IG for a while and he was destined to get a rep at some point to take his skills to another level! Just the great energy he brings to the wavy lines and awesome texture work is worth it. If you follow his line, it looks like he's working to get out of a maze.
