DescriptionI'm very happy to add this rare two page story to my collection. Larger than twice up, Jeff's brush work is quite amazing and peerless. Previously in a 30+ year collection and was bought directly from Jeff. I don't know of any other two page Idyl stories. Published in National Lampoon and also in several Idyl compilations. I love Jeff's imaginative and brilliant layouts and execution.Social/Sharing |

Such beautiful art. The composition and figurework is amazing. The inking impeccable. I just wish there was more content to the stories.

the stories aren't really meant to be narrative, instead I think they are sort of written in a dream state reality. The obscure meaning of the 'stories' actaully lend themselves to repeated viewing when hung!

Amazing Rob! I love his line art. His inking is some of the best in the hobby. You don't realize how good it is until you have a page in your hands and angle it in natural light. Adds to your first rate collection!

The artistry is pure thought and imagination. It does not set up anything and does not need to. It exists to communicate Jones' creativity and inner thoughts as a true expression of the artist.

Didn't know there was a 2 pager- twice the fun! Jones Idyl is awesome - compelling but so puzzling...and as you said these are large too.
