DescriptionAllan Jefferson is another Brazil-based DC/Marvel/Dark Horse/IDW artist and he absolutely SMOKED this commission for me.My request was simply “Cable” and he returned to me this insanity featuring an all-out battle against the Phalanx and some poor schlub they’re in the process of assimilating. Another reason why commissions can be so satisfying - If you can weather the risk and the occasional lows, you WILL get pieces like this that check every box and melt your cold, cynical heart. Cable to me is such a refreshing character because he inherited all of his dad's better traits -- determination, leadership, focus/discipline -- while adding a very large capacity to LET LOOSE when the time calls for it. The artist here captures this perfectly... no one's gonna call Nathan Summers a pretty boy (and live), everyone wants him on their side. Congratz, baby !!
