DescriptionA Bruce McCorkindale re-creation of Curt Swan and George Klein's cover art to SUPERBOY #98. Pen, brush and ink on 13 X 20" bristol board. Bruce said that he tried to stay as close as possible to Klein's original inking and suggested that it's not completely unusual for Klein to use odd textures (on the shadows). "Small (or no) shadows would make the whole thing pretty plain, and full black shadows would draw too much attention."Social/Sharing |

Great Krypton! Clark uses X-Ray vision on random boys to check for "secret identities"! The Silver Age charm is retained through its innocence and the delicate McCorkindale linework.
