Description

For me this, is a fun daily. I grew up reading FBOW identifying with Michael and that is probably what I still did when this was published. Years later, I now identify with Ellie as my daughter has had her driver's license only a few short months but is out with the car every chance she gets. Perhaps it is time to reread this pivotal series but now through the lens of an adult and parent.

A bit of an update. I didn't post this when I first got this. My daughter is a lot better driver now and has inherited a hand-me-down car from a family member with a number of dings and scrapes on it. When she was much younger we decided to get her a vanity plate as she is a bit clumsy. She owns her clumsiness and has a good sense of humor. We finally had a car to put the license plate on. You can see it in the additional images. She gets a kick out of the responses she gets from other drivers like a thumbs up when she backs into a spot and such.
