DescriptionFriday Foster seems like a pretty interesting strip, unusual for its black heroine, and seems to be set in a largely black milieu as well as the fashion world, and probably the best 70s vibe of any strip (even adapted as a blaxploitation movie starring Pam Grier!) Jose Longaron is the usual artist, and I haven't seen many examples of Gray Morrow doing the strip, but here's one. Morrow was always one of my favorite artists as a kid, for his near-photo-realism style, though he didn't combine it with the dynamism of Neal Adams... still appreciated by many though.The strip is dated January 10, 1974. The good girl art is complimented by the star of this strip with a great afro hairstyle, muttonchops, that ugly sweater that matches the pants, and the super big clown bowtie!
