I wasn't planning on buying this page, but I couldn't resist as this piece checks off a few boxes for me.

1. It's an early Power Girl
2. It's sort of her #1 issue (even though it's technically from Showcase)
3. It's from the famous Showcase run
4. One of my favorite images of Power Girl is the Adam Hughes Cover to JSA 2. This image really reminds me of that.

So happy to own this one.

Yup, if you like the character, a page from this issue is a nice addition to your collection. Great Power Girl images, too!

Power Girl is definitely a showcase of beauty and power. But she is also homeless and sleeps in the park. Nice 70's page of her with so many good girl attributes.

Love these pages where the bad guy looms in the shadows, cursing the hero and vowing revenge. And then you also get a nice contemplative moment with Power Girl. And beautifully drawn to boot! Definitely lots of boxes checked. Congrats!
