DescriptionYou know it and I know it, that tongue is going to get that cone! I would wager that Venom wished he had gotten the previous four.I am fairly new to Fran P. Lobato's work, but I saw that Cadence had picked him up and was doing a drop awhile back, and was instantly drawn to his art style. Overall, this is a really fun piece that shows Venom's love for chocolate. Some wonderful detail went into the design of the ice cream truck, and I especially like the crumpled bumper that Venom has latched onto. Fran P. Lobato is definitely an artist worth checking out, and I expect there will be many great works to come. You can follow him on: Instagram - @franplobato Twitter - @Franplobato There are also some really good pieces still available on his page at Cadence Comic Art. Not gonna lie, I almost went for the Spidey. Side note: UPS delivered this to the wrong house yesterday and I assumed it was lost, so big thanks goes out to my neighbor Kevin down the street for delivering the goods! There is a chocolate ice cream cone in his future. Social/Sharing |

I'm not the biggest Venom fan but, man, this is a fun piece that shows what a good artist can do no matter the subject.

Forget that other image of the alien symbiote that everyone has been talking about this week. This is the best alien symbiote piece that I've seen recently!

Love this piece, Tyler...such a fun image! I notice that Fran took a totally different approach with the way Venom is rendered here (when compared to other pieces I've seen). I really dig it!

Watch yourself, Eddie. Too much ice cream leads to tooth decay. Just sayin'...

Striking piece! I don't know Labato's work, but I'll certainly have to look over his posts.

Pretty wild! Definitely like the exaggerated cartoony look, and it's accentuated nicely with the downward perspective shot. And so much detail! Must be nice to pore over in person :) Congrats!
