Nightwing by Ron Salas

As much as I loved Dick Grayson as Robin, I love him even more as Nightwing. Dick grew into his own identity, and that's how he should stay. Dick will always be an important part of the Bat-Family, but he is also friends with almost every other superhero in the DCU. He is truly unique. And I've loved his solo books as Nightwing, from the early Chuck Dixon/Scott McDaniel run to the current Tom Taylor/Bruno Redondo run. Ron delivered a stunning depiction of Nightwing here, with him leaping from a balcony to stop some evil. I love the Bludhaven cityscape, the Escrima Stick poking over his shoulder, and that smooth-looking leap Dick is performing. Thanks, Ron!

It seems to be the style that is fascinating the many at the moment as with the photo realism with anything not black and white dropped out.

Dynamic shot of Dick, and man, the way he melds with but is also differentiated from the cityscape background?! Awesome. Killer example of the stark use of black vs. white. Congrats, Travis!
