DescriptionI had a chance to see a few of Michael's originals in person. They hit all the right notes for Marvel nostalgia and so I picked up this one. Large size art!Social/Sharing |

I really enjoy Cho's Darwyn Cooke inspired work and as Brian says, he captures the look and Silver Age feel of the original team, as well as that of Mastermold, exceptionally well.

Nice one! I agree. His originals are large and dramatic.

This has the same appeal for me that Bruce Timm's early Marvel art homages have. Wish I could see in person the graduated technique Michael has used here used to separate black areas from highlights, such as on the characters' uniform sleeves. A very pretty piece.

Beautiful, eye-catching rendition of the Silver Age X-Men! I agree with Mark that the inking technique Cho used here is something to be seen up close. Or maybe with a larger scan :)

Michael's retro looking art is just awesome. Especially love the composition and expressions here. Iceman is my favorite part of this. Congrats!!

I could not agree more with the other commenters on this piece. It's a beauty and invokes the original period.

Cho brought a new age flair to the outdated original X-men look.
