Superman #290 p6 (1975) Curt Swan / Tex Blaisdell

Check out this cool half-splash of Superman in action. I love artwork that features super-speed after-images so that made this page of great appeal to me. Swan gives us eight images of Superman in that panel along with usage of super-strength and super-aim as he builds a 'super-fence'.

This was a pickup from Dueling Dealers from Mike so I thought it was a must to include in my CAF gallery.

Another aspect that got me pull the trigger was that it came out the month before I started collected. I remember the comic but can't say I remember this panel and I think this is an issue I managed to find early in my comic collecting but not off the newsstand.

Nice and funny, Supes does classic 1960/70s weirdo stuff here (in that the period he also still changed his clothes in telephone boothes :). I also once owned exactly this page, it's nice to see it went to "a good home"! Look up my galleries for 20 nice Swan pages!
