Description

"Moody Batman" was the request. "Moody Batman" was what I got. Very happy with this long-overdue piece from Rafael Albuquerque (Detective Comics), as he was originally announced for Dutch Comic Con in Spring 2020, but the event only took place in March 2022.

A minor gripe is that the price had changed since that two year waiting time, for the same piece. To be clear: I was on the list, but we still had to pay and confirm at the actual show. So, no promises or heavy commitments were ever made, but the price did increase by $100 for the same request by 2022.

However, when I look at this piece, I really cannot complain all that much as Rafael gave this plenty of love - with the inks & wash.

Size is 9x12.
