DescriptionI've long admired this piece in Brian Peck's collection and I'm ecstatic to unite this with the 420 show poster featuring the Rhino swipe/homage.This is another fun example of comics and music colliding. Forbes delivers a swipe/spin on the classic Doom panel for the amazing band FAITH NO MORE! And look at that sweet hand lettering work. As kids my friends and I listened to FNM. I was also reading comics at that time and I had some of Forbes' art on my wall (by my Art Adams X-men poster), which gave this piece a triple-nostalgia factor. This artwork was used for an 18 by 24 inch screen print poster for Faith No More's April 22th, 2015 concert at The Wiltern Theatre in Los Angeles, California. The poster was an edition of 115, signed and numbered. Forbes also did an Artist Proof edition on sparkle foil paper. Many thanks to Brian for parting with this one. He has a fantastic collection of Forbes pieces if you want to see more HERE. Social/Sharing |

I love it when art finds its way to the right collection, like this piece. Your music theme is one of my favortie to see posted here on CAF. Are you planning to unite this with the poster? That would be an impressive display! Congrats!!!

Hey George, thanks for dropping by the show last night, it was great having you hang around! Congrats on working out a deal with Brian to get this, as it's obviously a killer looking piece. I gotta say though and I'm sure this hasn't escaped your attention, but I can't help but think how much more appropriately this piece would've fit an MF Doom concert!

LOVE how close up this is, with the iron hand reaching out right at the viewer! Killer rendition of maybe my favorite bad guy. "I am...DOOM" Congrats!
