Description

This is Topolino #3465 published cover, inspired by the first chapter of the story "Gli urbani paperi", written by Alex Bertani/Matteo Venerus and beautifully illustrated by Emmanuele Baccinelli, about the ducks family adventures in the ancient Rome.

The cover by Andrea shows Donald Duck on a Roman Chariot having some troubles since it seems the horse is missing... expression, details, the little bird, everything here is pure awesomeness.
As usual, the additional ink wash work by Freccero is a huge added value, making everything incredibly more three dimensional.

Looks like it represents the fall of the empire with things falling apart for Donald and the home behind him! Very fun cover piece as are all situations that give Donald a bad day.

I've always loved Disney Ducks wearing historical clothes and related adventures/parodies. Very fun cover by Freccero!
