DescriptionI admire the way Daniel Acuna can swap between economy of line and full-on detailed chiaroscuro madness at will (often on the same page). He’s also one of those artists that leaves plenty of room for his colors to round out his line art, as evidenced by his own digital work on the published page here. This team splash from X-Men Legacy Annual is a nice representation of Daniel’s work and I was happy to gobble it up into my collection :)For what it's worth this page was later re-printed as a Giclee by Marvel for that oh-not-so-rare DUAL PUBLISHED!!!! Way to eXhilirate the senses..."X-Men, take him down!"...someone done messed up. Love a good X-Men glory shot...especially when arriving to lay down the law...and their opponents. Congrats!

If there was a page to get the on the recent Acuna drop, this was it! Great face front shot of the team, and I like you included the published image. Love seeing his B&W line art as well as his digital colors. Congrats, man!

Cool mixture of X-Men from the originals to the new(er). It's fascinating to see Acuna's work before it goes through the coloring process.

I love Acuna's meshing of classic and modern style. This one seems to lean more on the former.

Very cool--I've always liked Acuna's distinctive, more painterly style. It always looks great in color but as this piece proves it looks awesome in black and white too!

Terrific splash, E! For "process people" who enjoy seeing the different stages (and development) of comic art production, Daniel Acuña really provides a lot to look at! His linework is awesome, but seeing his colors added to the page, and how much richness, depth, and texture they add, is a real treat. He obviously has it all in mind when he sits down to craft a page... Super team shot, Eranga - congrats, sir!
