DescriptionPublished 1970Invasion from the Ocean Floor! written by Roy Thomas Namor battles a sea monster. The Atlanteans attack New York with sea monsters in order to rescue Namor but he tries to prevent destruction and avoid a war between the two races. Marie Severin was one of the few women artists in the sixties. She started out as a colorist for EC comics in 1949. She did many issues of the Sub-Mariner title from 1969 to 1972. Social/Sharing |

A great action page! I've always loved Marie's work. I wish sexism hadn't kept her from becoming a monthly artist on any number of titles. Such a solid artist!

So dynamic! 4 splashes in one, and love how the you've got Namor in panel 1, and the sound effects and lettering throughout, breaking panels. Adds to the power of the page! Congrats!
