Description

I quite enjoyed the Justice series, in which the JLA struggle against individual ambushes from the Legion of Doom. In this scene, as the Atom recuperates in the hospital with his wife Jean, Giganta comes in to finish him off, disguised as a nurse. Watch out, Ray! I must say that's quite a large hospital room, which is good for Giganta. The page is a bit larger than 13x19, allowing Alex Ross plenty of space for his trademark realism.

A little Roger Moore in the second panel? Can't tell when it Ross likes to add easter eggs to his interiors. He uses a bright and light blue pallete to create the hospital sterile environment we often associate with cleanliness. Giganta really stands out with her red hair and ruby lips.
