DescriptionStar Wars 104: titled “Nagais and Dolls” - Luke, Leia, Han and their friends fly to Zeltros to enlist their aid in the war against the Nagai, only to have the war follow them! This issue is only three away from the series conclusion of the original Marvel run of Star Wars.A piece of production art here, picked up during a Dueling Dealers episode a while back. Seems I scanned it in but never turned it on. Glynis is a colorist with a long resume and longer solid stints on flagship titles such as Amazing Spider-Man, Fantastic Four, Star Wars, Thor, and Uncanny X-Men back in my heyday of my comic reading. For several years, she was married to Len Wein and was credited as Glynis Wein during that period. Was very pleased to add an example of her work to my Star Wars vault. Social/Sharing |

I'm lookin' for Oliver kind of love
The color hues are vivid.
The kind I like to claim without a shove
George Lucas, best believe it.
To save a lot of time and foolish pride I'll claim what's there online, girl
It's flashy, not muddy, blue color down Luke's thighs.
You blinded me with love, and Glynis opened up my eyes
Lovin' you has got to be (take me to the color guide)
Like the Vader sands in Tattooine (take me to the color guide)
My conscience got to be Jedi (take me to the color guide)
Oh Jeffrey take me, take, take, take, take, take

I always felt cover color guides were a nice, inexpensive collectible worthy of attention, long before they suddenly began skyrocketing in value, so it's nice to see them finally having their day. Kudos!

A great piece, particularly for your collection. It's a drug-free psychadelic experience!

Perhaps I should actually frame this one and get a disco ball. Hmm...
