Description

Sal Buscema and Mike Esposito Marvel Triple Action #45 Story Page 2 Original Art (Marvel, 1978). First page of a three-page flashback to the events in The Avengers #52 and The X-Men #44, included with the reprinted story from The X-Men #45, featuring Angel encountering Red Raven and the Grim Reaper attacking Goliath, Wasp, and Hawkeye. This is one of very few Marvel Triple Action panel pages that exists, for the simple reason that it was a reprint book that usually cut pages from the original story rather than adding to them! However since the aforementioned X-Men story was just a 15-pager, some filler was needed this time.

Fun Fact, all the art I have ever owned was acquired during the Elizabethean Era. I've yet to buy art in the Corlean Era, so, to your question, that's TBD.

Very expertly done filler page of all action! It accomplishes what it sets out to do by providing thrilling visuals while not changing the story to give either side an early advantage.

Fabulous Avengers page! Love all the action scenes. That final panel with the Grim Reaper zapping the Avengers is awesome!
