DescriptionPublished in Playboy After Hours Nov 1978, a nice illustration by Patrick Nagel. It would have been hard not to have seen artwork by Nagel in the 80's including the cover to Duran Duran's album Rio. I had a poster by him on my wall as a teen. His style had always been so distinctive and defining of an era that is very nostalgic for me.Social/Sharing |

Nice! When I was looking through the Nagel pieces they had in the auction, I said to myself "I think this one might be perfect for Jeff."!. Kudos on finally getting one! ♫ Her name is Rio and she dances on the saaaaand! ♫

Very nice clean linework that was perfect for the new decade that looked more sleek and future looking. Certainly less bushy and hairy.

Very nice, Jeff. I'm pretty sure that I remember seeing this in 1978, back when I was ahem, "reading" Playboy.

I usually prefer two-piece swimsuits on hot women, but in this case I like the one-piece just fine.
