Description

Back in 2006, I hadn't written many comics yet, but one of them was Union Jack. Around then I made a deal to do a Vertigo graphic novel (AREA TEN) with Chris Samnee drawing, before he was well known. We met and chatted at SDCC and he said he'd enjoyed the Union Jack mini. I asked for a Union Jack in my sketchbook and he did one that looked pretty darn good to me, but he wasn't satisfied with it so a little while later he sent me this, it's about postcard size so the detail is all the more impressive. No complaints from me on either front! He is an extremely nice guy as well as a genius.
