Thanks so much, Rubén! I will be posting more of these illustrations soon. It is amazing how each artist's take on this particular character is so different.

You're welcome. Yes, I suppose that's precisely what commission collectors who focus on a specific character must love about the process, seeing each artist's unique interpretation of that character. The inks on this one feel very organic and the body language is just great, very natural.

Mooneyham has a sharp modern focus in the face to get that desperation in the look and then loosens up the for the more rustic look of old westerns. Great inspired choice and it shows the storytelling he is capable with just a single image. It's no wonder his commission list sells out as fast an art drop.

Many thanks, Marcus! I have to confess that the final illustration greatly exceeded my expectations as I didn't give any specific instructions.

That really is a beautiful and dynamic illustration with lovely detail! I'm really worried about the Two-Gun Kid though, with all those bullets flying at him from the front. He'd better leap over to the other side of that barrier pretty quick!

Beautiful piece, CAB! One is immediately grabbed by the storytelling here - the "moment" that is captured to reinforce the character, just as much as a straightforward portrait - and the viewer is instantly pulled into rooting for Two-Gun. Fantastic staging here, allowing the shadows (and great texture of the wall background) to provide shelter for Two-Gun as the enemy bullets tear through the "brightly lit" high-noon sky... Beautiful clothing details - boots, spurs, hat, mask, vest... Incredible piece, CAB! I've really enjoyed staring at this one for a good while now!
