Hard to believe this was over 12 years ago. I love this art team and I enjoyed this run. In fact it may be the last Avengers run where I enjoyed both the art and writing. As 2 to 5 years after this I stopped buying books as all the changes needed to keep things fresh just disappointed me. Older guys buying comics, what are you going to do. Here is HA's write up:
Stuart Immonen and Wade von Grawbadger New Avengers #59 Double Page Spread 21-22 Original Art (Marvel, 2010). As Luke Cage recovers surrounded by his superhero teammates, we discover Luke's heart has a stowaway. A star-studded page featuring Spider-Man, Captain America, Daredevil, and many others, rendered in ink over graphite and blue pencil on two Marvel Bristol boards with a combined image area of 19" x 14.5". Both pages signed by Immonen at the top and in Excellent condition.

Great line-up of characters, and what a cliffhanger!! I really enjoyed the combo of art and story in this series too.

A collection of heroes showing the huge fraterny of Avengers that come out in support of Luke Cage! Bendis slow burn at it's best to allow us to linger on the important images.

Another fantastic Immonen add, Kirk. Stupendous assemblage of characters in a moment where you can feel everyone's relief at Luke being okay... only to zoom in for the "DUN-DUN-DUUUNNNN!" moment at the end. Really fun storytelling and beautiful art from this great run. Love it! Congrats, Kirk!
