DescriptionSean Phillips - Follow Me Down: A Reckless Book - p. 130. I just love this 2-page sequence which involves a flash forward from the main story, Ethan and Rachel in the movie theater, she asks to watch Wizard of Oz (seen on the following page), and he strings the 35mm film through the projector. Cut to the picture of his dear friend and colleague, Anna, on the wall, her fate foreshadowed in the next panel on the next page. Phillips is a master of the use of shadow, the darkness of the theater with all the seats, and how he puts Rachel in the doorway.Social/Sharing |

Movie theaters can be magical places. Especially old-school rep houses. So much to love about this series...and page!
