DescriptionGuessing this will be my last art post for the year. I'd like to say I saved the best for last but I was just lucky to get it now.1998 saw this 12 issue run as my favorite series of the 1990's. The story was excellent but the art was sublime, just perfect to tell this tale. These three guys created the, almost, perfect series for me. The team members, the villain the original storyline it harken back to. A huge thank you to Stephane and Sebastien for making this fanboy so happy. Social/Sharing |

Great series with absolutely spectacular artwork. The covers for the series were just stunning. Can't believe you actually scored one. Great way to end the year buddy. Congrats!

A great limited series that put Pacheco and Merino on everyone's radars. One of Twelve and this is one of the most intriguing with the Avengers in chains! Super detailed chain links to contrast those slick lines and ink fills for the figures. Busiek once again tapped into the history of Marvel and Avengers to bring an all time classic for these artists to shine brilliantly.

Powerful cover from a great series... lots to look at here; which makes me contemplate how much time both artists must have out in working out those chains. Very cool!

Avengers Forever was the pinnacle of Pacheco's art, IMHO. Perfect balance between bold layouts, drama, action and yet respect to Marvel's tradition. Merino's inks are stunning too
