This is the other back cover from this series I was able to acquire from Scott! The back cover to the first issue of the Elektra: Root Of Evil 4 issue Marvel Comics miniseries from 1995 written by Dan Chichester and illustrated by Scott McDaniel.

Direct quote from Scott with some tidbits about how he created these back covers:

"I created the tones using black ink, an atomizer, and miskit (a liquid frisket that creates a liquid mask that can be applied with a brush). Simply, the tones are small dots of black ink. All of the pencil under drawing is erased � everything you see is ink."

Ooh, really great! Hmm, now that I think about it, maybe I don't like the other one better than this one. Or maybe I do? Look, all I know is that I can't #@% decide, so just make sure you hang onto the pair of them!

Now the artwork's getting older
There's a few things to be had

Love how experimental this is from Scott! You can tell he was having a ball with these back covers. I wonder if he ever used these methods on other work because I don't recall seeing it elsewhere.

Definately different stuff than you normally see from Scott for sure. As far as I know he only used this approach for these back covers, and I own 2 of them (i posted the issue 2 back cover the day before if you missed it). He offered even more context on his process on these I noticed in the COA he included with both back covers, really interesting!!
