Description

On the climactic final page of this issue, the corpse of the fake Mayor is pinned to the wall, revealing his true alien form. His soldiers have killed Confessor, whose smoking skeleton lies at the left of the top panel. Now they move in on young Choir Boy with their unlikely and unwieldy weapons. How will he escape?

Really nice Anderson work! If people actually caught on to what Busiek and Anderson were doing in this storyline, it would be a lot more appreciated. The soldiers in these mech suits look like the Mandroids!
