DescriptionI bought the two model cells in the 90s and when I was able to pick up the original Toth sketch over 10 years later, I decided that I had to make a nice display. It looks to have been done with a thin felt tip marker, is dated 1994 and measures 5 1/2 inches wide by 8 1/2 inches tall. One of his better doodles given the fact that it's Batman and a full figure. Being a child of the 70s, Superfriends was a staple of my Saturday morning cartoon viewing. So glad to have this nostalgic little reminder.Social/Sharing |

One of the biggest Toth doodles that I can recall. Really nice !!

It's a wonderful display and the simplicity in which Toth's able to convey the Batman and all that he represents is pretty special. In 94', BTAS had already come out and even then, this Batman look would remain as valid and a solid part of animation history.
