Extra, extra special to me. Out of curiousity I decided to try and track down the Pogo strip which was published on my birthday. Thought I had it at one stage before my brain kicked in and realised that Americans write dates in a different manner to Europeans! What I thought was 3rd August was actually 8th March. Disappointment time. Then, amazingly, it showed up on ebay. I could not bid because the guy(who I had bought from before) had changed his post policy and no longer shipped out of the US. Crazy, crazy policy, guys. There are billions of possible customers outside the US. I asked Brett B to bid for me. A super nice guy. Bonus of bonuses. Its a really good strip too.

I was glad to help you get this my friend! I have no idea why some won't ship international...makes zero sense to me. Why limit your market? Anyway, the strip is where it was meant to be now!

Talk about a page one sensation...! Awesome grab, Peter; finding one's birthday Pogo strip is no joke! That is supremely awesome; congrats. On behalf of all Americans, I'd like to apologize for not only flipping the date on everything, but also for the whole "international shipping" bugbear... 😜 But there is still Pogo! Congrats, Peter!

Congrats on persisting and getting it, eventhough the seller tried to deny you :) The dating system outside of the US seems so weird to me, but I'm sure it is us who are the odd ones.
