Description

I first ran across The Creeper in DETECTIVE COMICS #443, one of those great 100-pagers from the 70's. This one reprinted his origin. I loved the wonky moves and just general weirdness of the character. Years later I picked up the subsequent issues, but found them disappointing. While still fun, they lacked the theatrical, "commedia del arte" sensibility of that first amazing issue!
