DescriptionStar Wars: The High Republic #2 Pg. 2 & 3 DPSPencils by Ario Anindito. Written by Cavan Scott. Star Wars month has arrived! So, May The 1st Be With You! I'll be doing my best to share the rest of my SW art collection here on CAF throughout the month as part of the celebration. One of my favorite things in Star Wars over the last few years has been the High Republic era storylines. Picking up where Page 1 left off from issue #2, here's a double page spread that continues the story, as our Jedis react to a distress signal and look for survivors in space. This (I think*) is the final pickup from NYCC 2022 I have yet to post! Thanks again to Ario for the pencils and Mark Morales (posting the inks next separately) for the inks. I'm not the best at combining scans for DPS though, gave it a shot. If you want to see the INKS, go HERE Social/Sharing |

A fantastic DPS from one of my favorite Star Wars eras being explored in the current comic lines. I like Luke, Han, Leia, and the old gang, but am growing fond of Keeve, Sskeer, and the other High Republic cast.

for sure! And for me personally I love certain High Republic characters that have only appeared in the books/novels so far quite a bit too, hopefully still some chance they show up in comics and other mediums

Beautiful pencils by Ario, as usual. He needs to be put on some more mainstream hero stuff so he can broaden his audience!

that would be well deserved for him, Star Wars is pretty high profile but the High Republic books within that is sort of niche - so its def an awesome gig for him to be on these titles and hopefully leads to more work for him
