Description

The Authority “Requiem,” p6 by Bryan Hitch, Paul Neary & written by Warren Ellis. Great action scene.

Glorious widescreen panels as the Authority take down some evil space plants.

This art is from an additional story added to the large format omnibus edition of the first 12 issues of the groundbreaking series The Authority. This was also featured in the recently published Wildstorm 30th Anniversary Special.

A superhero team for a new age taking down bastards by any means necessary. The first of its kind, this series took a “widescreen“ approach to the visuals of the Authority, truly fusing cinematic pacing and visualization to its layouts.

The Midnighter and Jenny Sparks are prominently featured taking these Day of the Triffids knockoffs head-on. The Engineer is in panel one firing on the aliens.

11 x 17 on Bristol, pencils and inks. Perfect condition.
