DescriptionX-Force #19 completes the redemption of Quentin Quire, transforming Kid Omega from the "enfant terrible" of the X-Men into something better. Kid Omega faces down the darkest parts of himself, both in person and on the Astral Plane, as he teams with Phoebe Cuckoo, Domino, and Jean Grey to defeat his clone.Today I'm posting pages 10 and 12, where Jean is teaching Quentin and Phoebe how to focus, navigate, and engage on the Astral Plane. Gary Brown's art on this Kid Omega story arc is what grabbed my attention, and it is perfect for what ultimately unfolds as a psychological thriller. Thanks to the fine folks at Cadence for the assist in getting an example of Gary's work for my X-folio. Social/Sharing |

Great page, love the storytelling!
The Marvel Unlimited app is taking me down some rabbit holes I have not been expecting lately. And I have enjoyed them thoroughly.

Another choice page! I really like the panel shapes in particular, while Jean Grey steals my heart once again!

Well I don't see you when you get jump start
Today we should have gone to the X-Force art
Well don't you Quentin see my Garry again?
If not it's Jean's mood on the astral plane
Astral plane for late at night
The astral plane or I'd go insane

Nothing makes you see the dark version of yourself like some training inside a big tree.... now I understand your mixup.

Throw in some raspy breathing sounds and an electric laser sword hum and this astral plane thing isn't too hard to figure out.

Boom! Love the door inside the mind panel. Nice four panel Shaker style, hard to tell if those are clear glass lites or solid panels though. :) Nice page, Jeff!
