Description

The Original book cover "ARNHEM LIFT"
Mpainting by Dave Pether for one of several wartime/combat novels relating to WW2 that he illustrated. This one was for a novel by Louis Hagen, published in paperback by Little, Brown in 1975. (cover shown for reference only) Hand painted in Acrylic and gouache on illustration board 16" x 11" with a label attesting to its authenticity signed by Pether's widow, mounted to the back.
