DescriptionI don't usually read modern comics, but at the insistence of a good friend, I purchased the Mike (and Laura) Allred / Dan Slott Silver Surfer run and read through it. I LOVED it. A mixture of pure fun, sci-fi space opera, and eventually a heart-tugging twist, it was my favorite thing I've read in years.So I'm overjoyed to be able to add one of the best covers from the run to my cosmic collection. Allred definitely brought smething different to SS and his art from the series is some of his best. Great cover!

I love that is so you and so NOT you at the same time. Mike's work on that cosmic background is really fantastic. Great cover pickup, man!

Congrats on getting a PRIME piece from one of your favorite recent reads! Really a quintessential Surfer AND Allred example, and pairs up very nicely with the Buscema splash :) Congrats again, bud!

I'm beyond biased, but the series is great and it's a high-point of both Mike's art, and Silver Surfer in general. Essential Surfer reading. Oh and yeah, this is a really cool example from the run, so congrats to you for gettig such a great example.

Fantastic cover by Mike Allred! Love the way the spiral becomes the pathway Silver Surfer has travelled across the universe! Stunning image by a modern master! Great pick-up!
