So I really like the Day brothers work and for a few reasons I really like Dan Day's artwork. So when I recently found out they published their own compilation story issues based on genres and saw an original art page I knew I had to get it. I wanted a page from the work that the Day brothers did on their own 4 issue project cleverly titled "Day Brothers Presents".

So BEHOLD!!! Day Nine of this lone space traveler from a story called "Hellstorm Locust"

Beautiful use of lighting throughout these panels. I get the feel of Steranko in much of this. (Which is high praise indeed.) Dan Day did some amazing work and you have a brilliant example here!

Congratulations Adam and can not wait to see your dramatic interpretation of this gem.

Looks like Wally Wood inspired with so much painstaking detail put into each illustration pulling light out of darkness. Lots of text to go along with each one and the page is almost equally prose.
