Description

Stiff paper card 3-3/8"x5-3/8". First offered May 18,1931 with picture to be taken on May 23,1931 and shown in his strip of May 25, 1931. The May 30 strip mentions that the first of the requested pictures were being mailed to readers. The picture is autographed by Mickey and his friend Butch who accidentally got in the photo by being in the suit of armor. My copy was Les Clark's personal copy that was given to him in the accompanying envelope. Les being an animator and Disney employee for so long made more images of Mickey than any other artist.
