DescriptionPost 2 of 2 for tonight.THIS IS IT!! The culmination of four issues of building tensions between Spider-Man and one of his most nefarious foes, Doctor Octopus!! A battle royale where both combatants are "armed" to the teeth! They are "armed" and dangerous! They both have ARMS !!! ... is what I'm sayin'. I am THRILLED to be able to add this one to my collection. The story in issues 27-30 has been one of my favorite Spidey stories yet, with stunning art by Ed McGuinness and Mark Farmer and fantastic writing by Zeb Wells. This has reality show tv written all over it and Paul was here first. Why with the royalties for this show you make tens upon tens of dollars.

The suction cups look to Ock's new tentacles are a great upgrade! A well balanced DPS that could be displayed upside down. Maybe it's upside down now?

Might just be the single best image from this entire storyline. I've seen arm wrestling matches before, but this is ridiculous!!!!!

Jeezuz, does it EVER stop?!? It's just fantastic piece after fantastic piece! Clearly, you've got Ed McGuinness in your back pocket, andthat's a VERY good thing! Congrats on a wonderful series of fabulous pieces from this beautifull illustrated run!

Thanks for the comment! I was so happy to get this DPS. The good news is that there are still plenty of pages from this ASM 27-30 story line available on Ed's CAF and also his website (edmcguinness.bigcartel.com).

It's like Pete said "have a taste, at least I didn't completely take over your actual body!" :) Tentacles vs tentacles. I think Ock's got an uphill battle. But his tentacles are super advanced. OK lemme go read the book. Congrats, P - an image truly worthy of the DPS treatment!
