I gotta admit, with the sad news of Keith Giffen's passing being reported today, I would've bet cash money that you would've posted one of his pieces! But this is lovely art, especially with Abel's soft inks. What's not to love about that bevy of beauties in the final panel?

By the way, this story looks suspiciously like the New Titans one, where Mirage turned into Starfire so she could bang Nightwing, using her powers, deceit and trickery!

Yeah, I was aware of his approximate age but hadn't heard about anything regarding any health issues, so it was quite a shock to me too.

Another cool Mortimer Legion page! One of the things I always enjoyed about the Legion in this era were the gadgets that you saw in the stories - like gill masks - described as if they were commonplace.

Underwater disco! The gills remind me of the creature that covers the mouth of its victim in the Alien movies and of Starro.
