Description

I�m way behind on posting art that I have acquired this year, so I�m trying to catch up! Back in March of 2023 I went to ECCC for a few hours. Matteo Scalera was there and he had the stunning original for his Kaya cover in a portfolio, but it was a bit pricey for me. While flipping through a smaller portfolio full of 8.5x11 layout pages, I found this gorgeous layout for the painted cover and couldn�t help but pull the trigger.

That Scalera cover's a bit pricey for me too. Dead of envy you got these layouts. Super nice examples.

Gorgeous cover layout piece. I went looking for the cover to this piece some time ago, but the piece had unsuprsingly long sold. It's really neat to see other artists' take on Wes Craig's Kaya, and personally, I think this cover is one of the best in the series thus far! Congrats!
