DescriptionWhen Mark drew this for me at Chicago ComiCon 7/5/1985, he seemed shocked I wanted a commission from him. He told me no one ever asked him for a commission before and this was the first time he had ever done one. I was a bit surprised since he was drawing Marvel's "Defenders" at the time. While it wasn't a top-selling book, it was still a Marvel title and I knew who he was and liked his work. As I recall, he only charged me $5 for this, but he took his time and really put a lot of effort into the sketch. I almost forgot I had it, but thankfully it was stored safe-and-sound in my archives box. I need to get this framed and hung somewhere in my house. It's a nice little piece of art.Social/Sharing |

This is a beautiful piece! I always thought Badger was more talented than he ever received credit for. Glad you found it and shared!
