Description

I have been covering the "Escape from Dimension Z" story arc by Remender/Romita Jr run on my show and have grown a new appreciation for the series. I picked up this half page splash as it has some significance with a few key elements on this page... 1. ) It's the first meeting between Jet Black (Arnim Zola's daughter) and Steve (and a pretty intense battle at that). She goes on to be an important character in Vol.7. And 2.) I think this is the first time we see Steve swinging his shield by a tether in an offensive move, which I thought was pretty cool (and it decapitates Zola's mutates). John Romita Jr.'s big bold pencils are accented by Tom Palmer's inks.
