Description

I asked Carlos if he could draw Man-Thing in a kind of meditative state. He thought about Saint Francis, and that led him to the thought of a saint born directly from nature. A kind of saint monster. This is what he came with.

I can see it, "saint monster". Ethereal quality, with the pose and butterfly above, as well as the imagery with the unreal line work. Awesome. Congrats!

Really great illustration with an added touch of the skull stuck in his torso! The pose shows the monster has a soul and feels so alive!

Lovely! This looks so good whether viewed postage stamp size or blown up close. Such an inspired pose, perfectly matched to Dearmas's inking technique with all the lyrical vines and the butterfly etc.

The linework is insane! Love all the hidden drawings within the drawing, and that "alas poor Yorick" pose. Incredible piece.

Absolutely beautiful illustration of Saint Man-Thing. Never seen Man-Thing look less frightening and more...at peace.
